Roles of YCB and the YCA

The Yorkshire Cricket Board is the body which makes policy for the game of Cricket within Yorkshire. It also applies for all grants that come into the recreational game in Yorkshire and formulates and publishes the 5-Year Development Plan.

The Yorkshire Cricket Association is the representative body of Clubs and Leagues and a constituent member of the Board. Its AGM in February of each year remains the only channel through which Leagues, and through them their member Clubs, can voice their opinions to those who administer the game of Cricket within Yorkshire.

The Annual General Meeting of the YCA will be held at Whitcliffe Mount Sports Centre on Saturday 28 February 2004, begining at 10.45 a.m. with registration and coffee from 10.00 a.m.

Please ensure that your League or other eligible Cricket organisation is represented.
