The Bradford North Conference was held on 26 February and was set up as a direct result of comments made by the MP for the area, Mr Terry Rooney, who stated last October under Parliamentary privilege, that Yorkshire Cricket was still bedevilled by racism.
The Yorkshire County Cricket Club and the Yorkshire Cricket Board were pleased to work together to create a presentation that adequately outlined not only the vast amount of work that is carried out for the benefit of cricket in Yorkshire but which equally stressed that it is open to all, irrespective of age, gender, disability, race, ethnic origin, colour, social status and sexual orientation.
Below, you will find a link to the full presentation made that afternoon by Andrew Watson, YCB Senior Development Officer.
